Google Analytics, Google Remarketing, Google Tag Manager
We use the web analysis service Google Analytics for the purpose of tailoring our pages to your needs and continuously optimizing them. In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies stored on your computer are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transferred to the Google Analytics server, stored there and processed for us. In addition to the data listed under point 1, we may receive the following information as a result:
– Browser type/version
– Operating system used
– Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
– Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
– Time of the server request
The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services connected with the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and the design of these Internet pages in line with requirements. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf.
The provider of GoogleAnalyticsisGoogle Inc, a company of the holding company Alphabet Inc, with headquarters in the USA. Before the data is transferred to the provider, the IP address is shortened by activating IP anonymization (“anonymizeIP”) on our website within the member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. During transmission, the IP address will also never be linked to other data relating to the user. The IP addresses are anonymized according to Google Inc. so that an assignment is not possible (IP-Masking). Google is also listed as a Pricacy-Shield participant. The Pricacy-Shield agreement between the EU and the USA guarantees minimum standards in data protection.
We continue to use Google Remarketing (so-called DoubleClick by Google) for online advertising and to evaluate the use of our website. Through the combined use of first-party cookies and third-party cookies, reports can be generated to evaluate how display impressions relate to website visits. Third-party advertisers, including Google, have the ability to serve ads on websites and to tailor and optimize them based on previous visits to the website according to demographic characteristics and interests (such as age, gender, or interests). The data may be obtained from Google or from visitor data from third parties.
The user may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on the browser software (see “Cookies”), however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Should you wish to do so, please follow this link, which will allow you to download and install a browser plug-in. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here.
We also use the Google Tag Manager to manage the services in the context of usage-based advertising. The tool itself is a cookieless domain and does not collect any personal data. Rather, the tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. If you have disabled it at the domain or cookie level, it will remain disabled for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.
The legal basis for the processing of data for this purpose is in our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 ABs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
We also use Google Dynamic Remarketing on our website. This service enables us to compile groups and lists of users and website visitors according to criteria, e.g. on the basis of certain activities, or from existing data records (e.g. newsletter subscribers), using the anonymized ID codes which are assigned by cookies (e.g. by Google Analytics), in order to be able to offer them information and advertising for our services and content which is fair to their interests and preferences on Google’s services. Google also uses cookies for this purpose. You can prevent the use of these cookies specifically for advertising on Google services and several other providers (on the Digital Advertising Alliance) here.
The legal basis for the processing of data for this purpose is in our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Social plugins from Facebook are used on our website to make the online store more personal. For this we use the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button. This is an offer from Facebook Inc.
If you call up a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website.
Through the integration of the plugin, Facebook receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.
Facebook may use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and the design of Facebook pages to meet your needs. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with the use of Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights and setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy.
On our website we have included links to our social media profiles on the following social networks:
– Instagram Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA
If you click on the relevant social network icons, you will be automatically redirected to our profile on that network. In order to use the functions of the network in question, you must log in to your account on the network in question.
When you link to one of our social media profiles, a direct connection is established between your browser and the server of the social network in question. This gives the network the information that you visited our website with your IP address and called up the link. If you link to a network while logged into your account on that network, the content on our site may be linked to your profile on the network, which means that the network can associate your visit to our site directly with your account. If you wish to prevent this, you should log out before clicking on any links. In any case, an assignment takes place when you log in to the network in question after clicking on the link.
